Stones to Castle:
CapCut or AI?

What do you want to change?

If you want your face in the valley and castle-window shots, you need a workflow that replaces the lead character. If you already have that video, an editor can add your music, text and finishing touches.

Our Stones to Castle AI generator takes one adult portrait and the included story reference. It creates an approximately 15-second, vertical silent MP4 for $9.90 once. The comparison above shows the portrait used in our saved photo test, so you can judge the change before buying.

Looking for a CapCut template link?

This page is a workflow guide, not a CapCut template download. To use a template inside CapCut, search its Templates area for “Stones to Castle” or “Stone to Castle” and inspect the preview available to your account. Check the number of photos or clips it asks for, the result it shows and the price before using it.

A template’s name alone does not tell you whether it replaces a person throughout a moving scene. Look at the valley shot and the final window close-up: are both personalised, or is your photo shown in an overlay or transition? CapCut also offers AI templates, so assess the particular effect rather than assuming every template works the same way.

If you want to recreate the effect in another AI editor, use our tested photo-replacement prompt and read which portrait and video references it needs. If you prefer the prepared workflow, the photo studio includes those instructions.

How to edit your Stones to Castle MP4 in CapCut.

Start with your completed download from My videos. Save it within seven days. The AI work is already finished; adding music or text to that file does not require another generation here.

  1. 01

    Import the finished clip

Create a project in your editor and add the downloaded MP4. On CapCut desktop, use Import or drag the file onto the timeline. Keep the project vertical at 9:16.

  2. 02

Add sound and a short caption

Our MP4 is silent. Choose audio available for your intended use, or add it in the platform where you publish. Use a short text overlay if you want a caption; keep it away from the lead’s face and the final window shot.

  3. 03

Export and check the saved file

Export an MP4, then play the saved copy from beginning to end. Confirm the sound, framing and ending. Enlarging a video does not add facial detail.

Editor controls vary by version. CapCut’s official template guide covers importing footage, editing and exporting.

Keep the four moments that tell the story.

Before shortening the clip, check that viewers can still follow these moments: the crowd throws stones, the lead picks one up, the castle rises, and the lead appears at its window. Cutting the last moment can make a finished generation look incomplete.

  • Face: check the opening and the window close-up, not just the thumbnail.
  • Framing: keep the head and castle spires inside the vertical crop.
  • Audio: leave enough of the ending for the final expression to register.
  • Export: check the actual saved MP4 before sharing it.

For a face that stays unchanged or drifts back to the original lead, see our photo-replacement checks. Those address the generation step, before you edit the result.

A few useful answers.

Is the Stones to Castle CapCut template free?

Check the price shown for the particular template in CapCut. On this site, the tutorial, prompt and saved examples are free to view; a personalised video costs $9.90. You do not need a subscription to this site.

Does downloading this example put my face in it?

No. The example is an existing test with the portrait shown in the comparison. Your personalised result requires uploading your own permitted photo and generating a new video.

Do I need a CapCut subscription to use this generator?

No. You generate and download your video in this browser. Use any editor that accepts your MP4 for optional music or text.

Why is my downloaded video silent?

The product intentionally delivers a silent MP4. You choose the sound afterward. Automatic speech captions will not produce dialogue from a silent file; add text manually if you want a caption.
